บทคัดย่อ (อังกฤษ) : Glass beads or spherical ceramics are produced by mixing cullet of waste glass or fragments of ceramics with an aq. soln. of HF or an alkali fluoride and stirring the resultant mixt. The app. for the method comprises a container filled with the mixt. of cullet of waste glass or fragments of ceramics with an aq. soln. of HF or an alkali fluoride, sliding plates set in the bottom face of the container on the opposite to each other at a prescribed gap, and a means for rotating at least the container or the plates. The obtained glass beads can be recycled for light reflecting materials, sound insulators, heat insulators, etc., and the spherical ceramics as artificial sand and the likes.

บทคัดย่อ (ไทย) : ลูกปัดแก้วหรือเซรามิกทรงกลมผลิตโดยนำเศษแก้วที่ได้จากเศษแก้วเหลือทิ้งหรือชิ้นส่วนแตกหักของเซรามิก มาผสมกับสารละลายกรดไฮโดรฟลูออริก(HF) หรือ อัลคาไลน์ฟลูออไรด์ แล้วคนส่วนผสมทั้งหมดให้เข้ากัน เครื่องมือประกอบด้วยภาชนะบรรจุส่วนผสม ชุดแผ่นรองด้านล่างของภาชนะบรรจุ ซึ่งอยู่ตรงข้ามกันตามช่องว่างที่กำหนด เพื่อหมุนเวียน ลูกปัดแก้วที่ได้สามารถนำมารีไซเคิลเป็นวัสดุสะท้อนแสง ฉนวนกันเสียง ฉนวนกันความร้อน และอื่นๆ และลูกปัดเซรามิกทรงกลมสามารถนำมาใช้เป็นทรายสังเคราะห์หรือใช้งานที่ใกล้เคียง
