บทคัดย่อ (อังกฤษ) : Silverton Mill is making high quality printing and writing grades from a furnish with a 50% recycled content. This success is based on careful control of incoming wastepaper and on tightly controlled pulping, deinking and papermaking processes. Handsheets are prepared from each batch of de-inked stock, both in the pulper and immediately after treatment. As the proportion of secondary fibre increased, the mill re-appraised its wet-end chemistry and equipped the PMs with automatic colour control; extensive cleaning programme  prevent runnability problems and sheet marking. Advanced in recycling technology are enabling the mill to upgrade the use of secondary fibre, and future investments may include dispersion and post dispersion brightening.
