บทคัดย่อ (อังกฤษ) : A review and discussion. with 1 ref., of the wide range of processing phenomena and ware properties that are affected by particle size distribution. By understanding the extent and type of effects caused by fluctuating particle size distributions, the imposition of tight controls on this important raw material parameter can be justified. Properties and phenomena that are directly affected by particle size distribution (including packing, forming d., rheol. and viscosity, suspension stability, porosity, and pore size distribution) and phenomena that can alter, and even negate, the effects of particle size distribution controls are considered.
